Well, here we are in the land of Puppet Projects. I've got several things for you to download and do. And, don't worry, there'll be more coming all the time. |
First of all, here's a picture for you to download. It was used in the poster of the exhibit we did at the Cannon Beach Historical Society in Cannon Beach, Oregon. Since there were almost 300 puppets on display, we needed a picture with a lot of different kinds of puppets in it. See if you can find me in the photograph - That's right, I'm sitting in the middle of all the other puppets. How many different types of puppets can you find in the picture? |
To download the picture, click on it and you will go to another page where you can click on "print" to make a copyfor you to keep. When you are done printing the picture, click on your "back" button to return here. |
This is a project that you can print out, cut out, and paste onto the final page. We've already done the coloring for you. It will make a small mural of animals and their habitats from the Pacific Northwest area of the United States. |
The file is in .pdf format, and is four pages long. The first page shows you what the project will look like when you are done, and the last page gives you a place to glue your animals and their habitats. |
Now, here's a project for you to color and put together. This is Chelsey, the Baby Dragon. When you click on his picture, you will go to the directions page, which you should print out. Then you will be sent to another page where his drawing is ready for downloading and finishing. |
You may need an adult to help you with this one because it requires using sharp things like scissors and a knife. I wouldn't want you to get hurt, so please ask for help if you need it. |
Here's another project for you to color and put together. Here are Robin Hood & Maid Marion. When you click on the picture, you will go to the Robin Hood page. There, you can print out, color, and assemble the entire Robin Hood cast for your own Sherwood Forest Adventures. |
You may need an adult to help you with this one because it requires using sharp things like scissors and a knife. I wouldn't want you to get hurt, so please ask for help if you need it. |
Here's a project to print out and glue together. These are our Three Billy Goats Ruff. Click on any goat and you'll go to the page of directions on how to make them. They are quite small when you're done, because we were thinking of them as Christmas tree ornaments or window hangings. |
One method of assembly requires some precision scissor work, so ask an adult for help if you need it. The other method is easier, for you just print them out and cut out around them. |
Finally, here's a project for you to color and put on your wall. This is a picture of me, Ping Pong the Panda, along with my friends Chadsworth the Dragon and Sir Sampson, the Knight. When you click anywhere on the picture, you will go to a page where you can download it and then color it with crayons, colored pencils or pens. Once you have it colored, show it to your friends and share the message with them as well. Well, that's all for now. Check back soon to see what new projects are here for you. Your Friend Ping Pong |
