Hello, Ping Pong here.
I want your time spent with us to be both fun and educational. Unfortunately, there are some rules I have to explain to you, and some advice I need to give you. Since I'm a puppet and not a lawyer, I will explain them as simply as possible without the fine print that lawyers seem to love so much.
Let's do the rules first.
1. You have the right to download any material you find here on my site and enjoy it for your personal use. You DO NOT have the right to use anything you download in any commercial activity.
2. My museum contains pictures of puppets from around the world. Some of the puppets are owned by the Olde World Puppet Theatre, and some are not. However, since they were all created by someone or some group (but not by you), they are protected by copyright. You DO NOT have the right to copy the likeness for your own use in any commercial way.
This also covers the photographs of the puppets. Steve and Marty worked very hard taking most of the pictures that you can see here. ALL of the photographs are covered by copyright, and you are granted a limited non-commercial license to use and enjoy them. You MAY NOT use them in any commercial venture without first obtaining permission from Steve and Marty. You can ask for permission by e-mailing them at pingpong@puppetmuseum.com with a description of how you wish to use them, and I'll let you know what they decide.
3. If you are a paid member of my puppet club, you are entitled to enter the museum from one computer only. To do this, your computer has to be set to accept cookies. Now, I know that some of you are upset by cookies, although I love them (especially Oreos), but this is how we know that you have paid us and are a member in good standing. I know that YOU wouldn't do it, but there are some people out there who would tell all their friends what their password was, and I'd have lots of visitors, but no ticket money to help me make the museum even bigger and better. Because each of you gets a cookie in the computer you subscribed with, that is the only computer that will let you into the museum. If you have more than one computer and you want to get into the museum from each of them, again, e-mail me and I'll get Steve & Marty to try to help.
Now, some advice
1. There are links from the museum to other puppet sites on the internet that I have found which you might enjoy visiting. I have gone to each of these sites and they SEEMED to be fun for you to visit. HOWEVER, I can't guarantee that every page on every site is suitable for you to view. Things change fast on the internet, and I'm sorry that I can only be responsible for what is contained in my museum. If you follow a link from here to a site that you feel is not proper for people of all ages to visit, please let me know and I'll do a very careful check to see if the museum should continue to display a link to it.
Also, please take note that some of the links may take you to a site that uses puppets to teach some religious principles to the world. These may not be your principles. These sites are noted in their link description, and if you would be offended by their message, just don't go there. Others might find the message important.
2. Some of the projects that are available for downloading may be more difficult than you can do by yourself. I have indicated which ones might need your parents help in completing. Besides, that can be more fun anyway, to work together as a family.
Well, that's it.
Hope you enjoy your visit
