This has been a week unlike any other in the life of America.

We will endure, the pain will eventually become blunted and more managable, but life as we know it will be forever altered.

Our hearts go out to the victims and their families.

The black box around our logo is to remind us all of the events of September 11th.

Not much got done here during the past week -- We were exhausted from our three day build-a-Quilly marathon, and Sunday and Monday were days of rest. Tuesday was -- well, we all know what Tuesday was.

On Friday, we went to see an open rehearsal of Perseus at the Tears of Joy Theatre studios, and I wanted to share some of the pictures of that with you, along with a few pictures that got dropped on the floor somewhere along the way.

Oh, by the way, Quilly made it to Ojai, California in time for the fundraising Gala -- and was the hit of the evening. We'll get back to work on the rest of their four puppets next week.

The unfinished set for Perseus, Hero of Ancient Greece. Here we see Jessie and Daniel with some trick stuff: Polydectes gets turned to stone (shhhhh! don't tell anybody!) towards the end of the show. Jessie had complained about the fit of her Athena mask, and was apparently told that if she didn't like it, she could make one for herself. So she did! She carved the plasticine, poured the plaster mold, poured the neoprene and the mask is now ready for painting and mounting the head-strap.	Everybody in the shop complains to me that they don't get enough of their pictures in these pages. So, here's one of Bill & Steve with the Graeae Sisters.
Here's one of Marty & Steve, way back when we were doing the Hans Christian Andersen sculpt. Say, was this picture posed? Nah, its just your imagination.	Even our dog, Aaron, was whining that we'd never put HIS picture on these pages. Since he spends as much time in the shop as we do, it seemed only fair -- so here is one. He's a miniature American Eskimo, 11 years old, an Aries, and is shown here in a characteristic pose (i.e. asleep). His favorite things are Beggin' Strips, rides in the car, barking at doggies, and chasing kittycats -- OK, is everybody happy?
