Our Construction Diary
|
December 1, 2001 As we approach the end of our 2001 construction odyssey, and enter the year-end holiday frenzy, we'd like to take a moment to thank everyone who was involved with the projects we worked on this year. A special thank you to Janet Bradley of Tears of Joy Theatre, Larry Adrian of Oregon Coast Children's Theatre, and Pete Johnson of the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy for having placed their trust in us to build the puppets for them. Even though all of the people who worked with us on building the puppets are no longer here in Portland (denying us the usual big goofy group shot), and even though they were pictured in individual "action" shots scattered among the previous 50 pages, we'd like to acknowledge them together here as a group. A great big special thank you goes out to each of you, for your help in making the puppets come alive. You each, in your own special ways, contributed to making them, and in the process, you enriched our lives as well. Wherever you go and whatever you do after this, we hope you can look back on this adventure and think to yourself: "That was really something special, and I'm glad and proud that I was a part of it". May each of you have the best of all holiday seasons. Our lives have been forever blessed for knowing and working with each of you. Sincerely, Steven M. Overton |
