March 24, 2006 - Sophie, the River Otter is FINISHED!!!!

The fur on the back of the head has never been attached,
so now is the time.

The head-back-fur-piece reversed to see how it fits.

The head-back-fur-piece, now attached and sewn to the head-front-fur-pieces.

Jacquelyn Keith, the soon-to-be inside-the-Otter-person
standing by her new alter ego.

Marty & Steve say their goodbyes to Sophie.
Fifty two days since the first drawings on the shop wall back on page 85.

Sue Vanlaanen welcomes Sophie to the library family.

One final bit of business, sewing in Sophie's ID Tag.

Sophie waves her goodbyes as she heads off to her new life as the
Spokes-Otter for the Fort Vancouver Regional Library District
in southwestern Washington.
